Construction industry in Pakistan has traditionally banked on the use of concrete based methods of construction which is resource intensive, unsustainable and detrimental to the environment .The rising calls for sustainability, environmental protection provided an impetus for adopting green building construction technologies, at the forefront of which was galvanized cold formed steel structure construction technology.

KAPEC-Kashmir Pre-Engineered Construction Pvt. Ltd, in the year 2008 introduced galvanized cold formed steel green building construction technology in Pakistan in collaboration with Quatron Steel of Vietnam and PEB Steel Alliance of Bangladesh. KAPEC was at the forefront of reconstruction efforts in the aftermath of 2005 earth quake using cold formed steel green building technology.

KAPEC specializes in EPC contracts; with its dedicated in-house design, fabrication and construction teams , KAPEC offers end to end building solution to its clients. The company is a licensed user of renowned FrameCAD software suite which helps in providing extreme level of efficiency in design, fabrication and construction process there by reducing cost overheads.
